This film will be analyzed and discussed for the next 100 years, probably more. Absolutely astonishing piece of work, at every level possible. This is what happens when genius, talent, and compassion get busy. Kudos, ladies. This movie is so beautiful, I loved it. Their interpretation are so real and their chemistry, and the end is angst but correct, and in some point happy. I loved your edit with this song. Btw where did you download the movie without subs? All the links I found had english subs that I can not remove.

During the whole film I was thinking why is there no musical score, this could really help. then that ending! It would not have penetrated and reverberated through my chest without the entire film being mostly scoreless.

Superb movie. Restraint grows the passion. My heart hurts. This is the kind of movie that moves you in such a way that is hard to explain. When the film ended I was sobbing non stop. And the Vivaldi music. The passion, love, desire, respect, solidarity between the characters is simply amazingly described. The movie took my breath away. The scenery, location, clothing, actresses, the movie is pure poetry. It is perfect. Just see it. In all my years of watching movies, I have never set eyes on such pretentious garbage. The dialogue is soporific, the acting is so wooden that the Californian redwoods pale into insignificance in comparison.
Just as an example, 8 minutes into the movie, there is a scene of the woman, naked in front of a fireplace, smoking a pipe, with 2 canvases drying either side of her. Utter self indulgent refuse of the highest order.
How this movie got an average of 8.3, I will never know. Perhaps all the Carsten Janckers who go to Cannes and drool over cinematic dross piled onto IMDB in their droves?
There are so many good movies that hail from our Gallic neighbours, unfortunately, it's because of festering celluloid cow-pats such as this which garner attention with golden globe and oscar noms, that most cinema viewing folk stay well clear of anything French. It stands to agine someone introduces you to the worst wine on earth. the kind of stuff that would strip paint and make vinegar seem like a fine Chianti? Would you rush out to buy more of the stuff?
So yeah, if you like pretentious nonsense. you'll love this. If however you have an ounce of taste when it comes to silver screen presentations, then stay well clear.

This film simply took my breath away! I've loved films all my life but now I don't think I want to see any more because nothing, NOTHING, will be as beautiful as this. This was wonderfully edited, and tbh by far one of the best, if not the best youtube videos I've ever watched. Thank you for sharing this with the world. On a completely different note, i read the subs even though i speak french💀💀.
